Meet Lexus!

Lexus is an 8-year-old pittie mix with a strong sense of self, a dry sense of humor, and a very specific idea of how the world should operate. He’s about 50 pounds of muscle, mystery, and occasional mischief. His foster family calls him Lex (or sometimes Rex, depending on the mood), but don’t expect him to coming running-he’ll respond when he feels like it. Maybe.

Lex is housebroken and prefers the leash be kept far away from his royal paws. That said, he loves a good car ride-just keep the window rolled up enough that he doesn’t try to make an escape and claim the front seat for himself.

This guy enjoys the company of his foster sister and is still deciding what to make of his foster brother. He’s not overly playful, but when he’s in the mood? You’ll know it. Most of the time, though, he’s content to be your silent sidekick-following you from the kitchen to the bathroom like he’s got important business to oversee.

Lexus would thrive in a home that respects his independent streak, doesn’t expect a constant playmate, and enjoys a dog with personality, opinions, and a healthy love of attention (on his terms, of course).

He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to be someone’s low-maintenance best friend with high-maintenance taste.
